Gameplay Regulations
Since we are trying to acquire the realistic feel, we will not be restricting any in-game moves or play styles. There is a counter for everything if you're quick and can react in time. Players can win a fight by four different ways:
1. Knockout
A knockout occurs when the players uses striking to knockdown the player and the player cannot recover in time. It will be scored by the official scorers as a "KO" on the official stat page.
2. Technical Knockout
A technical knockout occurs when the player is only the ground and either refuses to strike back or the referee deems the player unable to protect themselves. It will be scored as a "TKO" on the official stat page.
3. Submission
A submission occurs when the winning fighter causes the losing fighter to tap out. It will be scored as a "SUB" on the official stat page.
4. Decision
A decision occurs when a fight goes through all of the scheduled rounds without a winner. The fight will then go to the judges score cards to determine a winner. A draw is a possible outcome of this. It will be scored as a "DEC" on the official stat page.
